Alta tall as Marciana! In the Piazza del Cantone on the night of July 27th at 9:30pm the inauguration and scenographic representation of Alta, installation by Riccardo Mazzei with music by Tommaso Mazzei. In the medieval architectural background that frames three majestic magnolias accompanied by an ancient sundial and a cast iron fountain. In this corner of peace and silence were revealed Alta, a sculptural construction, representing the bond between heaven and earth, chestnut suckers and dipped by immersion in liquid kaolin, materials produced by this land. Alta! When the reason is eclipsed, as the astronomical event symbolizes, the only way to awaken it is to look at the sky to find the light as the work suggests.

Alta come Marciana!
